The primary aim of this endeavor was to craft a vessel embodying a truly Italian aesthetic, featuring an elegant and contemporary design with ergonomic comforts tailored for both on-deck and outdoor settings. The expertise and craftsmanship honed over 50 years at the Shipyard not only emphasize refined aesthetic choices but also meticulous attention to detail and technical precision in areas often overlooked. Notably, each composite bulkhead for interior elements undergoes individual weight measurement to tailor the thickness and optimize robustness, lightness, and performance. Cantiere del Pardo’s enduring focus on ensuring the reliability of Grand Soleil yachts stands out as a key strength, evidenced by subjecting all construction processes and onboard systems to rigorous testing and certification as per the highest quality standards. The meticulous emphasis on detail pervades every aspect of the Grand Soleil 72 project. For enthusiasts of technical intricacies, the hull design of Matteo Polli’s latest creation, the Grand Soleil 72, features a distinct V shape at the bow. The vessel’s considerable dynamic length, facilitated by its sleek contours and minimized wet surface area, permits a streamlined stern design to reduce hull friction during navigation. This optimization leads to enhanced dynamic speed and stability when heeled, resulting not only in superior performance in light wind conditions typical of the Mediterranean region but also in improved navigational ease and safety. The hull construction employs advanced techniques, including vacuum resin infusion with vinylester-based epoxy resin on biaxial fiberglass and unidirectional carbon fibers, yielding a sturdy yet lightweight structure. Additionally, strategic reinforcement with unidirectional carbon fibers in critical areas enhances hull robustness and rigidity. The interior arrangement, bearing the distinctive and well-regarded hallmark of Nauta Design, harmonizes seamlessly with the deck’s geometries. Nauta meticulously conceptualized, crafted, and perfected every aspect of the deck and interior spaces to maximize utility and create a unified and integrated relationship between them. Within the interiors, the dimensions, ergonomics, storage solutions, functionalities, and quality of all fittings are tailored to meet superyacht standards. The design aesthetic and selection of material palettes imbue the interiors with a refined, contemporary, stylish, and inviting ambiance.
